Refund policy
Last updated June 2026
The Article Processing Charge (APC) is a publication service fee for accepted manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Computational Design and Engineering (JCDE).
By making an APC payment, the author expressly requests the commencement of the publication process. Following payment, publication-related services begin, including production preparation, metadata processing, publication administration, licensing procedures, and communication with the publisher.
Accordingly, APC payments are generally non-refundable once publication processing has commenced.
Refunds may be considered only in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate payment of the same APC invoice
- Billing or payment processing errors
- Cancellation of publication by JCDE, SCDE, or Oxford University Press
- Other exceptional circumstances approved by the Editor-in-Chief
Refund requests should be submitted to the Editorial Office at Contact Us.
This policy does not affect any mandatory rights that may apply under applicable law.
