About the JCDE's APC Payment Service
JCDE is an open-access journal. The Article Processing Charge (APC US$2,715) will be applied to your manuscript. APC payment is required for the publication of an accepted manuscript.
Authors can use the following licenses for their articles:
Creative Commons Attribution license (CC BY) and Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial license (CC BY-NC).
APC (Article Processing Charge) for Review and Research Articles: US$2,715
The corresponding author based in one of the developing countries and regions listed in the APC waiver policy is eligible for a waiver or discount on the APC. An author’s eligibility will not affect peer review or editorial decision-making. If an author is affiliated with at least one institution in a country that is not eligible for a discount or waiver, they should pay the full APC. Changing the corresponding author after submission in order to obtain an APC waiver or discount is not permitted.
You will need a JCDE’s Article Processing Charges Payment Service account to use this site. You can create a new account or log in using an existing account. Please note that an Article Processing Charges Payment Service account is separate from any account you use for manuscript submission services.
Society for Computational Design and Engineering operates the payment service site, and Oxford University Press is not liable for payment issues. If you have any questions about the JCDE’s APC Payment Service, please contact us.
Publication Service and APC Payment
The Article Processing Charge (APC) is a publication service fee for accepted manuscripts. APC payment is required for the publication of an accepted article in the Journal of Computational Design and Engineering (JCDE).
By making an APC payment, the author requests the commencement of the publication process. Following APC payment, JCDE and its publishing partners begin publication-related services, including manuscript processing, production preparation, license administration, metadata registration, and publication workflows.
Once publication processing has commenced, APC payments are generally non-refundable, except in cases of duplicate payment, billing error, or cancellation of publication by the journal or publisher.
Authors are encouraged to review the Refund Policy and Terms of Service before completing payment.
